Welcome back to 2011/12 School year!

This semester the choir will sing at the Pinwheels for Peace Assembly (TBA) in September. Choir will lead in the singing of Let There be Peace on Earth. On Oct. 13th Choir will present a musical “Lets Communicate” by Carmino Ravosa for the whole school community. November will bring International Night and in December, we will present a holiday show that everyone will remember and enjoy! The Choir has already been asked to sing at the Cyclones game in 2012 so get ready for some Icy Fun!

Choir rehearsals will begin Thurs. Sept 1st and run through Thurs. Dec. 15th from 3:45-4:30 in the General Music Room. Check the schedule below; it’s important!

We also need to all have the white polo shirts to have a uniform look. It’s important that CPS is represented in a positive way and the Choir can achieve that, but we have to look uniform in our presentation. The SMPO has shirts available! Finally! Picking your children up on time is important because I have a Xavier class at 5:15pm and it’s important that I get there on time and in one piece. We are looking forward to future events at Sands and developing singers that will be able so sing at the Choir Olympics here in 2012!
