Spirit of 76 Park - Lunken Playfields

Yes - it is hard to believe but it is time for the Back-to-School Picnic. Please mark your calendars and bring the family to the Spirit of 76 Park at the Lunken Playfields the Sunday before school starts, August 15th. The gates will open at 4:00 and we will stay until 7:00. Please bring your own dinner and picnic blankets. SMPO will prove the drinks and dessert and have the coals hot for you. It will be great to see everyone and we can welcome new families to the Sands community. The event will be canceled if it rains or thunderstorms.
If you are willing to volunteer by setting up early, lighting the grills, calling new families to invite them to the picnic, serving drinks and desert, or cleaning up after the picnic, please send an email to this site and describe what you're interested to help with.
