Open registration for fall Soccer runs from May 7th through May 25th

Registration / League dues are $35.00 Payable to: SMPO

Sands Eagles Soccer Jersey is addition $15.00 (if one is needed)

Scholarship support available (70%)

Age requirements: players must reach age 6 and not be older than 11 as of July 31 – current year.  Players who are 5 and entering the 1st grade and will turn 6 by September 30 are eligible. 

To participate – parent or guardian must complete Sands Eagles Soccer Registration form and submit it to the Sands school office along with required fees.  Please print clearly on form.  

Players whose forms are complete and including the registration fee or written financial assistance request will be considered first for team placement. Teams will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis according to availability and the rules established by SAY.  No guarantees of team placement can be made since team formation is dependent on coaching availability.  Consider volunteering to coach!

Supported SAY divisions: Passers U8 (ages 6-7), Wings U10 (ages 8-9), and Strikers U12 (ages 10-11)

Fall season is 10 games played September through October.  Practice begins in August.

Practices are held during the week at times and locations decided by the team’s coaches - typically on Wednesday or Thursday around 5pm (Sands back field, Armleder, Kellogg, Linwood)

Game Schedules and location are not available until about a week prior to the first game.  

Parents need to indicate up front if they wish their child to play on the same team as another player for transportation reasons, etc.  Once teams have been established and submitted to SAY for review, it is generally not possible to switch teams (if there are 2 or more teams for the same age group). Team placement will not be made until after ‘Open’ registration period is completed. Parents should expect a delay of a few weeks after open registration before inquiring about team placement.  

Sands Soccer teams are coached by parent volunteers. Please consider being apart of the program!
