We are getting geared up for one of our top school fundraisers that is always fun for the whole family!  Please note that the date has been changed to Sunday October 9th and will be held at The Spirit of '76 Area at Lunken Airport.

First, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm we will begin with what has become our tradition--- our Hike/ Bike/Run.  Here children and parents (of all ages and sizes) will complete one circuit of the Lunken Airport Bike Trail.  All methods of 'trail transportation' are encouraged (i.e. strollers, wagons, bikes, scooters, running and walking).  There will be a prize for the classroom that has the highest participation in this event.

The fun will continue with our Community Carnival at the Spirit of '76 park from 12:00-4:00 pm, where we will have game booths, crafts, bouncy houses and delicious food!  Look for some new exciting additions to the event as well.

Back by Popular Demand:  Split the Pot!  Tickets will be $1 each or 6 for $5.  The winner wins half the pot!  The person who sells the most tickets wins a prize! We will also be running our Classroom Teams competition where the Team that sells the most Split the Pot tickets in total will win a period of bouncy house fun during a gym time for each of the Classroom Teams.

Look for Split the Pot and Carnival Ticket Pre-Sale orders to be coming home via backpack on September 9th.

New This Year:  Our 9-12 year olds will be designing our Carnival t-shirt.  Specifics about what should/can be included can be answered by your Home Room Teacher or Ms. Dean.  Get your designs in by September 16th.  The person whose design is chosen will win a Carnival Gift Basket!

With all great events, comes much planning.  Our next Carnival meeting will be Monday September 12th after morning drop-off in the Community Room. Each classroom will be running a game or activity booth.  The room parent will be contacting parents in each room to help run these booths. Please let us know if you are able to help in any other way.
